TIME. Time is flying by (as everyone says) and I am so heavily focused on slowing it down as much as possible, amongst all that we want to get done. It’s a tough challenge due to that push & pull, but we realized over the month of May that it’s truly ok to take our time with some of our projects and goals. To take a second and appreciate all that we have done. To take a second to drop everything and enjoy all of the outdoor space that comes with our new home. To drop everything to meet up with friends. To make an effort here, I personally have dedicated time in the mornings for myself – one being getting up earlier to take the dog for a solo walk for some fresh air before plopping myself in front of a screen for 8 hours. I’ve limited my social media breaks, started making dinner once a week (G is the big cook around here) and focused on a no device rule when we’re spending the evening together. Living through a renovation can be a lot, but the simple reminder to step back and focus on what it’s all about has made all the difference: making a happy home.
In this post, I’m sharing everything we did, decor tips and finds for you, and much more! Thank you for being here and making all of this a dream to share. I can’t wait to see where we are in just a few months.
