May was full of finding our groove! Cam has given us a little more of a predictable schedule now that he sleeps through the night, just in time as I returned to work towards the end of the month. We feel so lucky to both be home and present, and our mindset is to just focus on taking in each day! He is one happy baby and it feels so rewarding to be a working parent that can witness all the growth – it’s a wild state of society that we are all expected to be all things, to everyone. Parents are the coolest, I tell ya. I see you and I’m right there with you through all the shifts, responsibilities and joys!
On the home front, I know I owe you all our outstanding projects list and that is coming in just a few days! It’s been so nice to sit down, prioritize and take a bit of a break. I shared this last month, but I’ll say it again – rushing to complete a home can be a misstep and we want to really think about the use of each space before investing in them. We recently sat down to discuss our dreams for this home and are going to be prioritizing again based on that. I highly recommend having regular conversations or meetings on this front!
