February is now an even more special time over here! We celebrated one year in our home – catch up on all that we accomplished here. On top of that, we completed a major Second Floor Renovation – see posts below to get up to speed. End results coming soon with many evolving updates over the year – including finishing our laundry space! Last but absolutely not least, we celebrated the birth of our first child, a sweet boy, Cameron. We somehow pulled everything off in time and have been spending the past few days soaking up all 9lbs 8oz of him!
Now that baby is here, we’ll be taking a break from new projects, especially given all that we’ve accomplished in just the first year. I want to be super realistic and transparent with you all, that it doesn’t happen overnight and it’s important to pause and continue to save money. While in January our sofas arrived and we slightly refreshed the living room, there are MUCH bigger plans for it but we’ll wait until it can all be done together, and right. However, we’ll be working on finishes spaces like our new bedroom and bathroom, focused on organization of the wardrobes and cabinetry.
