Style Edit: 7 Summer Staples

June 2, 2021

As I mature into my personal style, I’ve learned to focus on staple pieces that have a classic look and lend themselves to versatility. I’m sharing 7 staple pieces for Summer and multiple options within each depending on your budget and preferences. Enjoy!

1. White Tee Top

A white short sleeve tee will never go out of style! I’ve pulled a few styles that vary in femininity, as well as staple white tees to pair with jeans.

2. High Rise White Wide Leg Pant

I live in my white pants and if I had to choose one to invest in, it would be a high rise wide leg, preferably cropped. They provide an effortlessly chic look and can be worn with almost all tops!

3. Woven Bag

A simple, yet stylish woven bag can easily be dressed up or down. I recommend this size as you can throw a few cards and essentials in for errands or events.

4. Strappy Sandals

Here are my go-to strappy sandals for all occassions. From hitting the beach, to errands, outings and events – many of these go with everything for versatile wear.

5. Cozy Chic Maxi Dress

Since quarantine life, pants are just less desirable – right? I love a maxi dress that meets at cozy and chic, here are a few of my favorites.

6. High Rise Jeans

Just by looking at my feed, you know I love a good high rise skinny/straight leg jean. They lend themselves well to easily tucking in a top, wearing a cropped top as well as any type of shoe – from heels, to sneakers.

7. White Sneakers

I round out these staples with white sneakers. I was on the fence last year, but get so much wear out of them! They make daytime or on-foot outfits so much easier to put together. I love the Vejas linked here!
