Living Room Refresh: Design Concepts

April 18, 2019

You all were split on wanting to design with me vs. a full reveal once the space was complete so I decided to share a few loose concepts of the space with you, but not show the final decisions of each piece! I have been researching and eyeing pieces that I think blend well together, with looking too matchy matchy. I’ve put together a few same same, but different designs that I hope give you a glimpse into my vision! Over the next few weeks, staple pieces will start to come in & inform the rest of the space so stay tuned for the full reveal! I’ve added a ton of pieces we are considering, so be sure to shop the post at the end. Excited to hear what you think in the comments or over on IG!

Concept 1:

These pieces allow the lines to play off of one another, while mixing slight variations of wood tones and hues. The accent rug will anchor the room with it’s introduction of color, while driving choices for throw pillows. In all concepts, the art shelf will allow us to switch up colors and moods throughout the seasons.

Concept 2

This concept is more moody and masculine, but a great mix of metals and shapes to create a cozy, homey feel.

Concept 3

Last but not least, a more neutral palette that keeps the room soft and clean while allowing greenery, art, and throw pillows to pull in colors.

    Hi,
Can you tell me where you got your shelf above your couch? I can’t find the source.

    Thanks!
