Though I consider myself very creative, I am a horrible gift wrapper. The task is so daunting to me – pulling out all the wrapping, tape, tissue paper, labels…finding the room to do it, the back aches. All of it deters me from it. This year, I decided to think on a simple way that reduces cost, effort, and materials. See my step my step way to utilize brown bags to wrap gifts in an effortless, affordable, and creative way this season! Shop everything you need at the end of the post, too!
1. Insert Gifts, Fold Flap
Depending on the gift, determine your brown bag size. I purchased a variety that was extremely happy to have on hand. Pack your gift and fold the flap over to your liking.
2. Attach Sticker
Place the sticker in the middle of where the flap meets the bag to secure your gift.
3. Poke Holes, Insert Ribbon
Poke holes to the right and left of the sticker for your accent ribbon. Simply slide the puncher on the top of the bag and press. Then, pull the ribbon through each side so that you can tie a ribbon in the front.
4. Add Decorative Accents
Personalize your packaging with greenery stems, hand painted accents, or stamps! I personally cut a few stems from my live tree to cut down on costs.
