Beyond looking pretty, there are many functional ways to utilize accent stools. Here are a few below, as well as my favorites on the market for any style!
Frame a Space
I love to finish off a space with an accent stool to add layering/depth in height or texture. These particularly work well in small spaces where you want to frame a space – on the side or end of a piece of furniture.
House Greenery
Everyone loves to incorporate greenery but finding the space is difficult, especially if it means taking away functional space. Utilize an accent stool to display a plant or two!
Use as a Side Table
Some lend well to serve as side tables in a living or bedroom space. Even if it’s just for coasters and to put a drink down. If you’ve got a busy design, an accent stool could be the simple solution!
Fill Awkward Wallspace
Have a small hallway? Angle of a space? Sometimes utilizing an accent stool can anchor the eye, especially when paired with wall art, a plant, or lighting.
Provide Alternate Seating
Even if used for decor or plants, when guests are over, put aside those items to provide alternate, additional seating. You can store them under an entry table, in a corner, by your fireplace, or hallway.
